As I continue my recreation of the mass shooting event on July 20, 2012 in Aurora Colorado, keep in mind that I am trying to present a compilation of eye witness reports as well as police and fire dispatch channels in chronological order. Because of this, from time to time, there will be more than one important issue at play at the same time. For example, in today’s blog posting, I start to lay down some very strange behavior on the part of the Aurora fire command (also known as Century Command or engine eight). In addition I’m also laying down more evidence of additional shooters possibly still inside theater nine even after James Holmes is allegedly detained outside of the theater. However, before we get into this I need to explain how conspiracy theories work and how they develop so you understand where my mind and questions are leading us.
As you may recall if you’ve been reading from the start, I never expected my early questions to turn into anything. I simply asked a rhetorical question about how a person is supposed to be identified as the shooter if they are wearing head to toe body armor including a face shield and gas mask. Can someone really positively identify the person behind the mask in court? Then to my utter surprise and dismay, I began seeing early recorded interviews with multiple eye-witnesses that claimed to have seen multiple shooters in the theater that night. Thinking this can’t really be true, I next began pouring over the publicly available police and fire dispatch recordings, listening very carefully second by second, looking for any support at all to the multiple gunman theory. And once again, to my shock and dismay, police and fire audio did nothing to dispel the multiple gunman theory. In fact, it BOLSTERED it. But, it wasn’t until I saw the alleged shooter for myself at his first court appearance that I started to formulate what one might call a “conspiracy theory”.
Again, a theory is basically a scientific term for the process of coming up with an idea that explains a certain set of circumstances or events. In this case, why did multiple eye witnesses report there was more than one shooter? Why was there evidence of multiple shooters left at the scene? And more importantly, why did the chief of police tell us that there was NO evidence of additional shooters despite all of the previous evidence to the contrary? Furthermore, why was James Holmes so out of it at his arraignment hearing that he couldn’t even speak or answer the judges questions with a simple yes or no answer?” All of these questions lead me toward the path of formulating a conspiracy theory. The theory I came up with, after seeing James Holmes drugged state in court was, “James Holmes was either not the shooter and was being set up to take the fall for it anyway or, at a minimum, he did it but he didn’t do it alone.”
I already had SOME basis for both theories. For example, we know that Holmes looked drugged in court following the shooting. We know that police found someone in a white car (presumably HIS car) appearing to be shot and having “gas masks” and “rifles” with him. We know that someone in the holding cell with James Holmes that night claimed that Holmes had no memory of the shooting. We know that one arresting officer reported that James Holmes eyes were dilatated (a sign of being under the influence of drugs). And, we know, that at one point Holmes allegedly claimed that he had been “programmed” by an evil scientist and that his memory of the shooting was as if he were playing a video game. I also had basis for the second theory of multiple shooters. We know that eye witnesses were reporting multiple shooters in both theater nine and the lobby. We also know that eyewitnesses and police were looking for a possible second shooter dressed in blue and white plaid shirt. And we know that police and fire dispatch were reporting an active shooter well after James Holmes was allegedly already in custody. And trust me, there is MUCH more evidence suggesting multiple shooters or accomplices still yet to be revealed.
Here then is where things get difficult. Regardless of whether James Holmes was not the shooter but was being set up to take the fall or whether he WAS the shooter but had accomplices or other shooters with him, both scenarios almost necessitate police and fire officials having to be in on the conspiracy to hide those facts from the public. For most of us, this is a step in logic we are simply unwilling to take. Most of us believe police and fire officials are the “good guys” and are essentially trustworthy. If a suspect says one thing and a police officer says another, MOST of us will assume the officer is telling the truth and not the suspect whom we already believe is a “bad guy” and is going to lie. But in order for me to test my hypothesis or theory I had to be willing to accept the possibility that there are such things as “bad cops” willing to lie about what really happened in order to cover up a conspiracy or frame someone for a crime they didn’t commit.
As I continue my analysis you may find that I am taking on a more suspicious tone. I will start asking some very difficult questions and challenge the official narrative because I now have the basis of a conspiracy theory that deserves examination. You may not like it. You may not have asked the same questions yourself. That’s ok. This blog’s purpose is not to prove to you there is a conspiracy but rather to give you a look into the mind of a conspiracy theorist and better understand where we go off the rails. Which questions are fair and logical and which are the deranged questions of a lunatic?
It is now approximately 12:51 am, on July 20, 2012. Unit 301 reports on air, “Inside of the theater is secure…we’re bringing out bodies now. Get someone to the back as soon as you can…rescue personnel, I’ve got at least three to seven hit.”
So stop for a moment. According to this transmission, the officer seems sure there is no more active shooter inside the theater (presumably theater nine). The reason we know this is that he’s stating that the theater is “secure” and that they are bringing bodies out. This is a bit complicated however because, as we will see later, an eyewitness still inside the theater will make a statement suggesting that he still sees the shooter in the theater well after this transmission. How can an eye witness “still see the shooter” inside the theater if the theater is now secure?
Seconds later the radio comes on and a woman can be heard crying in pain…faintly in the background you can hear an officer on air saying, “she’s got organs that are coming out..” you can hear the distress and shock in his voice. This woman is quite possibly Farrah Soudani who was sitting next to a gas canister when it exploded and was perhaps shot at point blank range by a shotgun ripping open her stomach. If so, Farrah would survive the night and be dubbed a miracle by hospital staff who couldn’t believe she would make it.
Medic 105 then reports in to Century Command, “Fire Dispatch from Tower Eight, we’re down at Sable and Expo and need an ambulance for GSW to abdomen, arms and legs if you have anyone to spare.” Again, GSW refers to gun shot wounds.

At 12:52 am Engine Eight-four reports in on fire dispatch, “…we have on the northeast corner, we have four reds…we have PD bringing out additional victims out the back here…um…I need another ASP unit at least and two ambulances over here right away.” Red patients mean injured persons who are in critical condition. At the moment I’m forgetting what an ASP unit is but I believe it’s a emergency response vehicle of some sort with special capabilities.
During the ensuing conversation Engine Eight-four would report an additional “red” has been brought to him, making it five and they are bringing victims to him at the northeast corner. I’m spending time pointing out how many victims are being brought out the back of the theater and how often they talk about it for a good reason. Later on, in a blog post soon to come, there will be a bit of confusion over how many people were brought out the back of the theater.
At 12:52 am police audio records the following, “Lincoln twenty-five to the guys in…[cuts out]…cruiser 10…I need a medical crew in nine. I’ve got one victim, eviscerated…we can’t…[cuts out]”
So let’s break this down a bit more carefully. The lieutenant who was first to report in at the rear of the theater, Lincoln twenty-fife, is now calling in from inside theater nine and asking for a medical crew to be brought into the theater. He’s reporting that he’s with a victim who has been eviscerated (an extremely serious wound).
And then, inexplicably and in very short order another officer breaks in on the recorded dispatch and calmly tells the dispatcher “don’t worry about the emergency…”
The dispatcher calmly responds, “copy”.
This exchange here is very strange to me and I don’t really know what to make of it. An officer is calling in about an eviscerated patient (meaning their insides are coming out) and another officer tells dispatch simply not to worry about that transmission. Even more strange is that the dispatcher doesn’t seem to question this and simply responds with “copy”. This immediately made the hairs on my arm stand on end. What’s going on here???
Then an officer comes on air yelling they are going to evacuate as many as they can out of nine at the east side.

At 12:53 am, officers report they are clearing all the rest of the theaters of Century 16 now. Again, it appears the shooting is over and we are in full rescue mode.
About this same exact moment the female Aurora fire dispatcher comes on over the air sounding distressed, “…PD is requesting as many medical personnel as possible to the Dillards to assist with patients there as well. We have two additional engines en route…Engine Five…and then we also have a child down outside theater nine.”
From this point forward the female dispatcher from Aurora Fire will sound audibly shaken, especially as she repeatedly calls for medics to help the child at the back of the theater and no one responds. Pay attention to the report of the child down in or outside theater nine (the child’s location seems to change a couple of times) and the response of the fire chief on scene as his actions will be odd to say the least.
The fire department’s Central Command (Engine Eight) begins directing engines on where to stage as they come into the scene.
At 12:53 am a police officer is overheard yelling on air, “…I need somebody to shut this movie off in nine! How do we shut the movie off in nine?”
Inside theater nine, eye-witness Corbin Dates would corroborate the timing of when the movie was shut off when he would later say in a televised interview, “about ten minutes after the shooting started the movie was shut off but the theater lights were still dark making it really hard to see the shooter.”
For me, this was a BIG red flag for the official story. Maybe there’s another explanation coming but Corbin Dates here claims that when the lights were shut off about 10 minutes after the shooting started it made it hard for him to see the shooter. Now I may be crazy but to me it sounds as if Corbin believes the shooter is STILL inside the theater a full ten minutes after the shooting has started!
Jennifer Seeger also estimates she was “trapped” in the theater for 10 to 15 minutes indicating she thought the shooting was either still going on or she believed the shooter was still in the theater. When she finally reached the lobby, she saw a police officer cocking a shot gun.
TAKE NOTE!
Corbin Dates potentially places the shooter still inside the theater a full ten minutes after the shooting has stopped and LONG after James Holmes has been detained. His comment about it being hard to see the shooter clearly indicates Corbin believes the shooter is still inside theater nine. Because the movie is shut off but the house lights remained off in the theater, it is now very dark and likely near impossible to see.
Now consider this for a moment. If the shooter really still was in the theater as Corbin’s story seems to suggest, it would have been quite easy for the shooter to slip on or off some gear in the sudden darkness immediately after the movie stopped. By the time the lights came up or people’s eyes had time to adjust, the shooter may now easily be mistaken as one of the patrons in the theater or even other police officers or SWAT who have already entered the theater. Remember, we know that official sources told us that the shooter looked identical to the responding police save only that he was wearing a different type of gas mask. Sounds a little like a stretch? Maybe. But possible? Absolutely.
This is a critical time marker so take note! It is now about 10 minutes after the shooting has ended when the officer calls for the movie to be shut off. As we can see here, the movie is still running a full ten minutes after the first 911 calls and at least Corbin Dates sees the shooter in the theater well after this. In addition, his friend Jennifer Seeger felt she was still trapped in the theater presumably because she believed the shooter was still inside.
Another broadcast immediately following the request to shut the movie off in nine comes over the PD scanner, “Lincoln twenty-five to everybody on the the…[cuts off]…it’s an assault rifle…we have magazines down inside so everybody watch out for the assault rifle.”
Lincoln twenty-five is inside theater nine and reporting he’s found an assault rifle and magazines down inside the theater and warning people to watch out for them. But again, James Holmes was supposedly detained outside of the theater with “rifles” and “gas masks”. The official investigation will later document that James Holmes only purchased one shotgun and one rifle. So how can Holmes be detained with “rifles” (plural) outside and also have left a rifle inside? How many guns did the shooter have? Or, was there more than one shooter who discarded rifles on scene because now we have rifles inside and outside the theater. And yeah, it gets worse!
